Send proposals, orders and invoices by WhatsApp - Dolibarr module
Your customers read WhatsApp far faster than their e-mails. KSI WhatsApp adds a "Send by WhatsApp" button on Dolibarr proposal, order and invoice cards, right next to the native "Send email" button: the document goes out in a WhatsApp conversation, with your usual message and a link to download it.
The native send form, not a copy
The module does not reinvent a home-made dialog: the button opens the real Dolibarr "Send by mail" form, untouched — recipient list, e-mail template selector, subject, message body, attachments. You compose your message exactly as usual, typing it or applying one of your templates. An extra "Send by WhatsApp" button appears next to the native send button: it reads the subject and body you just composed and opens WhatsApp Web with that text, ready to send. Your e-mail templates become WhatsApp templates, with no double maintenance.
The right number, automatically
The recipient is resolved automatically: the module uses the third party's WhatsApp number (Social networks tab), falling back to its mobile or phone number. If no usable number exists, the button is greyed out — same behaviour as the native buttons. The module automatically enables its dependency, the core "Social networks" module.
The document inside the conversation
The WhatsApp message contains a download link to the PDF (proposal, order or invoice), generated by Dolibarr's native document sharing mechanism. Your customer opens the document in one tap from the conversation, on mobile or desktop. The external download permissions per document type are visible and manageable in the module setup.
Simple, light, no third-party service
No account to create, no paid API, no middleman server: the module opens WhatsApp Web (or the WhatsApp app) with the prefilled message, and you press "Send" from your own WhatsApp account. Nothing goes through a third-party service.
