Ready-to-use instance
Dolibarr, the database and HTTPS access are prepared in the KSIDol environment.
KSIDol hosts your Dolibarr instance in an environment prepared for daily operation. Your team accesses the ERP CRM from a browser without installing or administering the server. Each plan clearly states the number of users, storage, backups and included services.
Standard shared hosting mainly provides web space, a PHP version and a database. The customer or its provider must then install Dolibarr, check the requirements, manage updates and verify the backups.
With KSIDol, the instance is prepared in an environment operated for Dolibarr. The technical scope depends on the selected plan. User support, migration, training and development remain separate when they are not expressly included.
Dolibarr, the database and HTTPS access are prepared in the KSIDol environment.
The database and documents are covered by the technical backups included in the selected plan.
Migration, modules and compatibility are handled in the actual Dolibarr context.
Essential provides the technical basis for using Dolibarr online with two users. Support is kept separate to maintain a clear and affordable plan.
The Essential plan at €24 per month does not include support. Support options and one-off services are available separately (support from €19 excl. VAT per month).
Both solutions can technically run Dolibarr. The main difference lies in how responsibilities are shared and in the level of service provided.

Hosting is the technical environment in which Dolibarr runs. SaaS adds a usage plan with a defined number of users, storage and services. Support covers user assistance, diagnostics and interventions.
At KSIDol, these scopes are clearly separated. Essential includes the announced SaaS environment but not support. Other plans or options may include additional services.
An existing instance can be transferred to KSIDol after its condition has been reviewed. Migration covers the database, documents, configuration and compatible modules.
Before the switch, KSIDol checks the Dolibarr and PHP versions, database, configuration files, external modules, scheduled tasks, email and any payment services.
Once the selected migration backup has been created, the old instance must no longer be used. Data entered after that backup is not transferred automatically.
A website and an ERP do not have the same uses or update cycles. The website may use WordPress, WooCommerce or other extensions, while Dolibarr contains management data, commercial documents and user permissions.
Separating both environments limits side effects. A website change, failure or update should not disrupt access to the management tool.
This separation does not prevent both applications from being connected through an API or connector when the project requires it.
KSIDol can install or develop external modules to extend Dolibarr’s standard functions. These modules follow the software conventions without modifying the Dolibarr core.
Requirements may concern workshops, after-sales service, bookings, documents, stocks, transfers, Factur-X or a website connection.
Installation, configuration, licences and development are not automatically included in the hosting subscription.
Business data remains the customer’s data. When changing solution or provider, a database and document export can be prepared according to the contract and any required services.
Portability does not automatically include installation by another provider, correction of old data or adaptation to a different environment.
