One column per stylist, one row per quarter of an hour, opening hours shaded: the schedule reads at a glance. Working hours are set day by day including the lunch break; time off and exceptional openings are laid on top without touching the usual pattern. You switch from day to week, and from one stylist to the whole team, with the buttons at the top. A free slot is clicked directly to create an appointment already in place.
A schedule per stylist, in fifteen-minute steps
Processing time, handled for what it really is
A colour does not occupy the stylist for its entire duration. SalonManager splits the service into phases — application, processing, rinse, finish — each with its own duration. During processing the stylist becomes available again for another client while the chair stays busy: that is what lets you take a cut during a colour, without ever promising the same person twice. Phases are set once on the service; the team has nothing to work out at the desk.
Booking at the desk or online
At the desk, three pieces of information are enough: the client, the service, the slot. Availability search combines working hours, time off, skills and what is already booked: it only offers slots that can really be honoured. An appointment can be held as an option and confirmed later. Online, the optional portal lets your clients book without a Dolibarr account; requests land in a registrations-to-approve screen, and nothing reaches the schedule without your agreement. A waiting list collects those to call back as soon as a slot frees up.
Skills: who can do what
Each stylist carries their own skills — cut, colour, balayage, beard, updo, treatment — and each service states the ones it requires. A colour service is then only offered on the schedule of the stylists who perform it, and a balayage never lands on the apprentice. This is the first setting to make in a salon where not everyone does everything: it determines how accurate every slot offered afterwards will be.
Colour record card and patch test
The record card keeps, client by client, the formulas applied: shades, developer volumes, processing time, result obtained and observations. At the next visit the colourist reopens the last card and picks up the right formula instead of reconstructing it from memory. The patch test required before an oxidative colour is recorded with its date, so you always know whether it is still valid. Client consents are tracked with their date.
Packages, gift cards and loyalty
Sell packages — ten blow-dries, a year of cuts — with their content and their validity: each session used is deducted automatically at the appointment, and a report flags those about to expire. Gift cards have their balance and their movement log, and an empty card is no longer offered at payment. Loyalty points are credited when the appointment is closed, and every balance is the verifiable sum of its log, not a counter adjusted by hand.
Productivity, commissions and several salons
The productivity report gives, per stylist, the revenue achieved, the number of clients and the average ticket over the period. Commission rules are defined per stylist, per service or per family, as a percentage or an amount, with tiers; the calculation only covers appointments actually completed, and one reopened then closed again is never counted twice. If you run several salons, each has its own hours, team, resources and prices, with a single catalogue.
The module, as a one-off purchase
SalonManager — 295 EUR excl. VAT, one year of updates included. The module installs on your existing Dolibarr, version 18 to 24. The initial setup — services and durations, processing phases, skills, team hours, commission and loyalty rules — can be done by you or entrusted to us on quotation. See the module listing and order.
100% Dolibarr, no third-party software
SalonManager is natively integrated: your clients are your third parties, your services are Dolibarr services, and taking payment produces an ordinary Dolibarr invoice with your numbering and your accounting. No bridge to watch, no double entry, no data hosted elsewhere. Packages and gift cards are native products, so they are ready for Factur-X invoicing. The module speaks five languages and has no text hard-coded in the source.
Hair salon software FAQ
Does the software handle colour processing time?
Yes, and that is what sets it apart from an ordinary diary. A service splits into phases — application, processing, rinse, finish. During processing the stylist becomes available for another client while the chair stays busy.
Can my clients book online?
Yes, through an optional portal served by your own Dolibarr: no account for the client to create, no data hosted elsewhere. Requests land in a registrations-to-approve screen, so nothing reaches the schedule without your agreement.
How much does SalonManager cost?
295 EUR excl. VAT as a one-off purchase, with one year of updates included. The initial setup of your salon can be quoted if you prefer to entrust it to us. You can order the module online.
Does it handle packages, gift cards and loyalty?
Yes. Packages are deducted automatically at the appointment, gift cards have their balance and movement log, and loyalty points are credited when the appointment is closed. Every balance is the verifiable sum of its log.
Which Dolibarr versions does it run on?
From version 18 to version 24. The module installs on an existing Dolibarr and requires no other paid module to work.
