What does the Drag & Drop Documents module do?

In Dolibarr, attaching a file to a record takes several clicks: open a window, browse your disk, select, confirm. Repeated dozens of times a day, this small gesture becomes a real time sink. The Drag & Drop Documents module removes that friction: grab a file or a link and drop it straight onto the record. The document is attached in a single move, exactly where Dolibarr usually stores your attachments.

It is a usability boost, not new software to learn: the module simply adds a visual layer on top of the document blocks you already use.

All of Dolibarr's controls stay in force — security token, object type and ID, user permissions, maximum upload size. No core file is modified, no table is created, no special permission is added.

Compatibility and setup

Install it as an external module and enable it from the module list: that is all. It works on customer, invoice, quote, order, product and project records, and on any object with a Documents block.
